David Lynch, MB, a thoracic radiologist, is a Professor in the Division of Radiology at National Jewish Health, Denver Colorado. A graduate of University College Dublin, he trained in Internal Medicine and Radiology in Dublin, followed by a fellowship at University of California San Francisco. 

Dr Lynch has authored or edited four books and over 150 publications. His primary clinical interest is in CT of diffuse lung disease. His major research interests are in diffuse lung disease, COPD, quantitative CT and lung cancer screening.

He has participated in numerous multi-center studies related to thoracic imaging.
